Lauren Graham was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Donna Grant and Lawrence Graham who was a lobbyist for the candy industry. Lauren Graham has Irish, English and Scottish descendance. Her mother hails from Scotland, while her father is from the American South and her father was from New York. She was raised living in Northern Virginia, USA (Fairfax, Arlington, and Great Falls, VA) Graduate of Langley High School, McLean, VA A graduate of Barnard College with a Bachelor's degree in English.
