Yael Stone
Stone was born in Sydney and grew up there. She attended her school, the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts (NIDA) and in the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Stone's career in acting began when she was a child, when she was as a character in Me Myself I. and The Farm. The majority of her work was theater. At the 2008 Sydney Theatre Awards, she received awards for Best Newcomer and Best Supporting Actress for her performance on The Kid. Also, she appeared on television and film, with roles as supporting actors in All Saints and Spirited. From 2010 to 2011, she appeared in The Diary of a Madman in which she received a nomination for the Best Supporting Actress award at the Sydney Theatre Awards. The actress traveled across the country to New York in February 2011 for the Brooklyn Academy of Music production of The Diary of a Madman. When she returned to Sydney her role was to play the role of the main character in A Golem Story and Summer of the Seventeenth Doll.
